dontcha think?
a little tooooo ironic.
And yeah, I really do think.
P.S. Holly trivia: Jagged little pill (featuring the song "Ironic") by Alanis Morisette was the very first CD I ever owned. In 5th grade my mom took me to Incredible Universe so I could buy it. Thanks Mom!
AND... Here's a picture to appease all those like my husband who don't like wordy posts with no pictures. (If he ever looks over my shoulder while I am reading a blog with no pictures he says "ewwww too many woooooorrrrrrddddssssss" and then continues to bug me so that it takes me twice as long to read the post)

Here's Noah, excited because I'm going to let him finally play with the camera today

Wait. No I'm not. Isn't that the cutest little sad face you've ever seen. Don't worry, I don't try to make him make this face on purpose. But it's cute nonetheless.

And here's a nice shot of our fun little tree. fruit loop garlands--which are wrapped around the top two branches (Noah finally couldn't help himself and ate about 6 inches of our garland while I was doing the dishes); noodle angels that we made last year with mamie; and little presents that Mark and I made by cutting up cereal boxes and forming them into little boxes and then wrapping them; the topper is a brown paper bag reindeer puppet in which the antlers are a cutout of Noah's traced hands. We decided that each year we are going to make a new set of ornaments for the tree and then we'll save just the really good looking ones to save for the next year(s).
Ok, this post is officially longer than the short paragraph I originally intended to post. Make sure you scroll down and read the other new posts I've made if you haven't already.

It's funny that you should mention the song Ironic because Dan and I were talking about that song just yesterday. We have been known to discuss this particular song because nearly every incident that Alanis talks about in the song is decidedly NOT ironic, with the exception of the guy in the crashing plane. So in a way the song IS ironic for being so NOT ironic. :-)
Yeah, I really do think.
The very first tape I bought was Stone Cold Rhymin by Young MC
That was the first CD I owned too! I got it for my 13th birthday. I have every single word on that CD memorized.
Target is a great place to go play at with the kids. A little popcorn and a lot of toys.
I just read your description of Mark on the sidebar and it is Chris to the T. Brothers, we think?
I just realized that I lied. Chris is NOT a minimilist. He's totally a pack rat. I get in trouble all the time for throwing away stuff. But everything else you said about Mark applies to him.
