Niagara

Here are some pictures from our trip to Niagara falls

The Hershey shop in Canada. Noah was pretty excited about this chocolate dude.

P.S. that is not a large sweat stain down the front of my chest. We went on the boat ride that takes you right into the middle of horseshoe falls. While they give you big blue ponchos and little baby ponchos for little Noah (sorry no pictures), it is so windy that you should just expect to get wet. It didn't help that we decided to walk up a little sidewalk right next to one of the falls. Noah pretty much hated the whole experience. He kept saying "shower" and nestling his head into our necks. He doesn't like showers. We told him to buck up though, and that he would thanks us later for the experience :)

Here's Noah trying to jump off the lookout point. We strapped him in the stroller from there on out.

We enjoyed walking across the bridge to Canada although the most exciting thing we did over there was to take a picture of Noah inside this large tree. And of course, see the chocolate dude.

Then we stayed with my parents' friends who live in NY. They had this great little square-foot garden which made me super excited because I was half-way thru reading Mel's book on S.F.G. I'll be starting mine this coming winter for this coming spring. (Do you ever get confused when people use the word "next"? If I said "next spring" would you know that I meant spring 2010 or do I mean the next spring after that? ) Nate and Cami, if you guys read this, I just want you to know that you are my inspiration for square-foot gardening. Thanks!

We also went and saw some LDS church history sights in Palmyra New York (no pictures, sorry) and ate at the original restaurant to invent buffalo wings. A great trip all in all!

That's so cool that you live close to enough that you can do that kind of stuff! There is so much more to see on the east. I'm jealous. Where do you guys live again? Ohio?

Square Foot Gardening = awesome!!! That's so great, I hope yours turns out wonderfully. We'll be starting one soon as well, however, ours is going to have to be one of the 2x2ft. portable ones since we don't have any dirt or grass outside our apt. :-)
