Noah Says

It's been awhile. Happy New Year. Noah got sick yesterday. Sick days=movie days. Yesterday when I asked him what he wanted to watch, he said that he wanted to watch Baby Einstein. I said, "um, are you sure? what about cars." but he was adamant about it. I put the movie in and he says
"you sit on the rocking chair's friend named ottoman."

I went to get a few things done and when I came back, Noah was laying in the doorway of our TV room so that he was barely peeking around the corner to see the TV. (this is what he does when he gets scared). Poor kid. Scared of Baby Einstein(the 0-6 months one, mind you). Anyway, I made him sit in the chair and told him that he's not allowed to be scared of Baby Einstein otherwise I would turn it off. Is this the sign of a sheltered kid? I don't know.

Noah has been repeating phrases that I say (sometimes things Mark says) and it's pretty hilarious.

At the airport Noah was carrying his own carry-on:

"This pack-pack is driving me crazy!"

During quiet time:

"I can't build this railroad! It's so embarrassing!"

Noah often tries to initiate a negotiation about something he wants or doesn't want. Then he'll furrow his eyebrows, stick out his lips, and lowers his voice and says "That makes a deal, okay?"

That's funny about the scary Baby Einstein. My kids have done the same thing with those shows! Sometimes they'll just go out of the room and peek around the corner when certain parts come on. I just don't get what's so frightening about it! :)

Cute rocking chair quote. :) Don't forget about the "my mommy and daddy's wedding song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." I miss him.
