Noah and I have been butting heads a lot lately (and it may or may not have to do with him learning to call people stupid) so I everyday I have to focus on the cute and hilarious little things he does so that at the end of the day when I am so happy he is in bed, I can still think of him as my sweet baby Noah.
Yesterday morning he gave the sweetest little prayer. Mark and I were beaming during the whole thing. "Thank you for this beautiful day" "Bless that we can do the things the Holy Spirit asks us to do" Seriously, this was all unprompted! Then he said "Bless that our house will be able to stay upon the earth." I'll admit, a snort of laughter escaped my lips.
Later, as Noah was pretending to be a horse (like he does 24/7) he made his room into a farm and told me only horses were allowed in there. I said "what about the farmer" without skipping a beat he said "he's in the dell"
Finally, Noah is obsessed with moving and with States. Apparently he tried to start a rumor that we are moving to Kentucky. (Someone at church came up and asked me out of the blue if we were moving to Kentucky!) Don't believe it! It's not true. He just really likes Kentucky. His second choice is Oklahoma. One of his best friends is moving to Colorado so I guess he thinks that means we need to move too. This morning on the way to preschool he started singing a song about Kentucky and how we need to be patient so that we can move there soon. I love this kid.
