A few things about Noah

I just realized I never did a post about Noah from his last birthday.  My sister Melanie always does such a good job at documenting her kids' lives at each birthday and sometimes even monthly.  So here you are, a glimpse of Noah:

-  Noah is uber emotional.  This translates into a happy, jumping-off-the-walls kind of kid.  unless you cross him.  Then his life is ruined FOREVER.  but we're working on that and I think we're making progress.

- He loves Elise right now and always wants to make her smile.  Him and Maren are working on their relationship.

- He's very honest, I can pretty much always depend on him to tell me what happened.

- He's very smart--he can read, tries to write, loves to draw and paint, and loves/hates the piano (he hates practicing but he loves playing the songs he knows).

- He's a good friend.  He's very socially outgoing and often a leader.  It's pretty hilarious the games/trends he comes up with and gets all of his friends to go along with.

- He's creative--he is always trying to figure out ways to translate games and movies to real life.  Lately he's been wanting to experiment with food coloring and mixing different liquids together.

- He's becoming very organized and so good at cleaning up his own toys now.  He figured out that that is the best way to keep his sister from destroying his stuff while he's at school.

- He never stops moving.

- He's good at sharing--he kept wanting to share his Halloween candy with everyone.

- He always asks a zillion questions.  Many of them are really weird and so I have put a limit on questions.  (ex: why did i know that the word "unto" is my favorite word in the whole world??!!!??)

- he loves cars.  and star wars.  he can tell you just about anything that has to do with star wars.  And he loves when uncle curt does a really good chewbacca impression.

- Last time I checked, he wants to be a nascar driver.  I'm trying to convince him to go into engineering though so he can be the one designing and building the cars instead.

A few nights ago Maren was crying and Noah was saying a prayer and he said "bless that maren will stop crying" [maren stops crying immediately] "hey, it worked!"

Noah loves the popular song "Dynamite"--I'm guessing he heard it in school.  Anyway, we listen to it a lot now and Noah tries to sing and do motions along with the song.  I see if I can get a video this week...

Love you Noah!  We are so proud of you!
