A letter to Noah for his birthday

Noah turned 6 a couple weeks ago.  He had a pokemon party (duh).  The character on the cake is named Oshawott--it's like an otter, i think.

Happy Birthday Noah!  We love you and are so proud of you.  You do make life a little crazy but it is definitely worth it.  You are so smart and thoughtful.  You remember EVERYTHING--especially when it comes to pokemon.  You are creative and a great problem solver.  We love seeing the way you are working so hard to be friends with Maren and Ellie--even if they do bug you a lot and always get into your stuff.  You are a lot like me in that mornings are not your best.  You would much rather hang around and play with your toys in the morning than get ready for school (i would rather sleep, not play with my toys) and i don't blame you.  But once you get to school, you cheer right up because you LOVE to be around people.  You are a great friend and know how to cheer someone up.  You enjoy helping out at school.  You can read just about anything--even if you don't always want to.  You are a smartypants in Sunday School and sometimes give your teacher a run for her money.  We love you, can't wait to get to know you better!

PS You know who said...

What a nice tradition - to write a letter to your children on their birthday about their many talents and accomplishments!
Bravo, Noah, for your wonderful 6 years and bravo, Noah's parents, for your parenting skills.

Happy Birthday Noah!! Josh asked me the other day when we could come visit you guys. Your house looks AWESOME; do have enough room to have a family of six come visit? :D We would actually really love to make the drive up sometime if Rich ever has enough time off. He does have two weeks after Thanksgiving...but since we'll be having a baby then it might not be a good time :) Anyway, we miss you guys. I don't know if I'll show Josh these pictures; it'll just make him wish he could be there too.
