Learning Baby Tad

For those of you who don't know, we often referred to Noah as "Tad" before he was born. We don't usually call him that anymore now that he has a real name but we still do once in a while. Anyway, Mark's mom got Noah this cute little toy--Learning Baby Tad. While somewhat obnoxious to an adult, this toy is great for baby Noah! It definitely decreases fussy time.

Not only is the toy great but we found that his box makes a great chair! Unfortunately, this version doesn't come with an on/off button ;)

Mark, Noah, and I have really been enjoying our new Christmas presents. Noah gets really into his Baby Einstein video. Mark and I are always making short videos with our new video camera, and we especially enjoy talking to our family with our webcam.

I just finished a 1-week rotation in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit). I loved working with the dietitian there and learned quite a bit about how to give babies the nutritional support that they need. She will be a great contact to have in the future if I decide to go into neonatal nutrition. Tomorrow I start my surgical rotation which will last two weeks.

Mark just finished his first MCAT class and starts a new course this Thursday. This means he won't have to take so much time prepping before each class! Mark loves staying home with Noah during the day and is looking forward to warmer weather so that they can go enjoy the outdoors together.

That's it for now!
