When I first moved to Cincinnati, I wasn't so sure about going to book club, but after going my first time, I couldn't wait for the next month! This picture was at my last book club in Cincinnati. I really miss you guys! Books we read include: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Seeker, Poisonwood Bible, Total Money Makeover, Austenland, etc. I enjoyed reading all of them! I missed a couple months and so now I'm trying to make those up. Currently I'm reading Stiff by Mary Roach and I absolutely LOVE it! Mark is reading it too, and enjoying it, which is a big deal because Mark can be sort of a book snob. It's a non-fiction book about the different things that happen to a cadaver after a person dies. Sounds a little weird, but you just have to read it. I recommend it to just about everyone, unless you're my mom or grandma. Then I don't think you'd love it. The only thing about reading this book is that I sometimes find myself dreaming about cadavers which is slightly disturbing. All in all, it reconfirms my desire to donate my body to science after I die.

On similar note, I just found out today that my new ward in Cleveland has book club this week. I am so excited!

Yeah Stiff was a pretty cool book. You should have seen Carolyn get all excited about Promessa
She's all like ooh just turn me into a tree.
Book club is awesome. I'm sorry you're going to miss this month when we're reading the book you suggested. I'm enjoying the book so far! :-) You'll have to start a book club/game night up there in Cleveland!
I am sure I will not read that book Stiff - mainly because I am not too far from being one. I don't want to KNOW what is going to happen to me!
I do have the name of a new book (the library here does not even have it yet. "Guernsy Literary and Potato Peel Club" - It's on the best seller list. I am trying to get my name on a list. I am too Scotch to buy it!
Glad you are happy. I love you.
