Noah's Birthday

(he sometimes calls this his "Gracie" face because the girl his age upstairs is named Grace. It has nothing to do with her face, but just that "crazy" and "gracie" sound alike to him. He also likes to eat quesadillas which he calls gracie-dillas. hahaha)



Here are some pictures from his birthday party--it was very small. He just had 2 friends over.

Noah at 2:

- helps load and unload the dishwasher
- Uses the toilet occasionally
- Counts to ten (without help even)
- Points out letters when asked "where is the ___"?
- Identifies letters--pick up a letter (uppercase) and he can tell you what it is
- Knows all of his friends by name
- speaks pretty clearly
- skips (although its more of a gallop)
- helps mommy with the compost
- knows many phrases from different songs--although he doesn't exactly sing
- memorizes the words from library books--after the 2nd or third day, especially if the words rhyme
- puts on his own shoes
- tries to say prayers
- Common phrases: "kiss it better mommy" "I wanna cupcake" "NO! Stop it mommy!" "hey guys!" "I wanna call _____ (usually mamie, grandpa B, his other grandparents, uncle Chris, daddy, or cousin avery)"
