Twick or tweat

For Halloween, our family was the Mexico-Saxony Treaty signed around 1830. Don't even try to verify that because Mark sent me the original text and ever since it has been missing from the internet.

Basically it means that Noah was a little German Boy for Halloween. Authentic leiderhosen and hat, even.

He didn't like the leiderhosen too much--"NO seatbelt!" he'd say.

I was a German girl--authentic dirndl which I bought in Munich 4 years ago at a thrift store. Which means a real German person wore it before me. That is cool.

And Mark was a mexican. Although technically, the ruana (aka poncho) is from Colombia; my dad bought it for me when he worked there in the drug trade. I mean computer training industry. The sombrero and facial hair, on the other hand, not real.

Some kids came over to play in their costumes. Why is it that kids don't want to wear the cute costumes that their moms make/pick out for them? Makena (grapes) was upset because the balloons were touching her face. Sal just would not stay in her skunk costume for more than 2 seconds. Joshua (in the gray) wouldn't keep his trunk on. but I guess that was for pretty obvious reasons. and Noah. Well you know, "NO SEATBELT!!!" Stetson on the other hand, was sad that he wasn't wearing a costume. He kept saying "costume" over and over.

Close-up of that awesome train!

Mark's scary pumpkin--although it went in our compost last week since we carved it too early. oops.

And some twick or tweat footage. Noah's first time by the way.

Noah loves the candy bucket. (this is his happy face, remember?) I guess we'll have to work on a nice happy face for family pictures at christmas time.
