Do you ever feel like your kid(s) just doesn't hear anything you say?

A week or so before Christmas break I was sitting on the couch while Noah was playing with his dump truck and fire truck...


Fire truck crashes into dump truck

Noah to fire truck: "No! no hitting! Look at me, look at me! No hitting! Say your sorry. look at me. say your sorry. go to time out."

Fire truck goes to time out (very briefly).

Dump truck crashes into fire truck...

Noah: "Hey! no hitting!" ... repeat same dialogue as above

So apparently he listens... :)
