I organize park day group here in Cleveland. We go to a new park every week. Since last year's 2 beach trips were such a hit, I planned another. I was pretty sad when no one showed up. We were so glad when the Grahams and Kellers (not pictured) showed up! This beach was really awesome--the long drive was definitely worth it. shallow swimming area, great bathroom/picnic/changing room/shower facilities. And it was CLEAN! that doesn't happen very often in Cleveland. We had such a great experience that we went back there with Mark yesterday. Pictures forthcoming.

Maren is our athletic child so far--she's much more interested in Noah's bikes than he is. On the other hand, we just signed Noah up for soccer. We bought the cutest little shin guards this week. He also starts pre-school on wednesday. huzzah!


Last month, our friends who moved to Hong Kong came to visit. It was so great to see them! Nora and Noah. Noah still refers the sleeping bag Nora used at our house as Nora's sleeping bag.


After the kiddos went to bed, Betsey and I had some of our friends over for a girls' night-just like old times. Didn't someone get a picture of that?!
