ice cream and babies

My Jeni's ice cream book finally arrived in the mail last week.  I have made 6 or so batches of ice cream since.  I also made my own marshmallows.  I put half of the batch of marshmallows in some amazing chocolate ice cream.  the rest I toasted tonight to put in my sweet potato ice cream tomorrow.  These toasted marshmallows are the bomb diggity.  seriously.  I don't know if I will ever buy marshmallows again.

cooking the sweet potatoes
marshmallows in the back, pretoasted. cream cheese/salt/cinnamon mixture in the bowl--this gets mixed with the ice cream base to make it extra creamy

pureed potatoes, with sugar added

In the meantime, all of my babies are upstairs dreaming of delicious ice cream (or milk in Ellie's case)
I love when they suck their lips in

And, I'm going to brag--is this not one of the most beautiful babies you have ever seen?  I'm not sure how I got so lucky but all of my kids have been such good-looking babies.

her hair is so amazing it's ridiculous

I always remember my kids having a lot of hair so I decided to compare some pictures.  Apparently Maren didn't have that much and it was really really light so even though she had hair, most people assumed she was bald until they got close up.

Maren

Noah had quite a bit of hair but it sure doesn't compare to Ellie.  I think Noah and Elise look a lot alike.

I think she looks like a combination of Noah and Maren actually. It's so crazy for me to see a little Broadbent that I haven't met and had over to my house...it doesn't feel right!

By the way, that ice cream--Wow you shouldn't have posted that. Can I come over, please??
