When I asked Noah what he wanted to do on Monday before he started school, all he could think of was what he wanted to eat for breakfast. I could tell that he was a little nervous about how little time he would have to play at home so we stuck close to home on Labor Day. Of course we had to go to the "BB park" so the kids could collect the BBs that the older kids in the area shoot. We always find random toys left at the park. Seriously? who lets their kids bring toys to the park and then let's them leave them there? Anyway, this day they were so excited about the guns. Noah kept pointing his rifle at my face and saying "look mom!" I told him he wasn't allowed to point the thing at me anymore til I made sure that he wouldn't accidentally shoot me.
Noah loves kindergarten. he runs into my room every morning all panicked that he missed the bus. (several buses drive through our town home neighborhood). He picked out his outfit and insisted that he "pop" his collar.

| our next door neighbor is in his class and it was so cute when he asked her if he could sit next to her on the bus everyday |

| Maren was so sad when she couldn't go on the bus too. Once she realized she got me all to herself, she perked right up. |
Fortunately, Noah hasn't been grumpy yet upon arriving home after school. He's excited to go get Maren from her nap and give her a big hug. School is doing wonders for their relationship!
