Noah has been sick the past 2 days and is unusually calm. He has basically hung out in his bed for 2 days straight doing nothing. Yesterday he even napped! Anyway, we discovered that he got better early this morning. He woke up, turned on all the lights, went into Maren's room, and got her up. The two laid outside of our (thankfully) locked door and repeated over and over "mommy, I'm hungry." I got up quickly to see what time it was since I hadn't heard my alarm go off. It was 1:55 am. Fortunately I was able to get them both back into their rooms without much fuss although I'm positive Maren stayed up and played for awhile (evidence: she's actually napping right now).
While, 2 am is not my favorite time to be woken up, I, surprisingly, was pretty good-humored about the whole situation!

I'm glad Noah is feeling better! Have they done this before? I swear it sounds familiar.
