Every Monday night, Mark and I try to have Family Home Evening (FHE) where we have a short lesson and then sing some songs with Noah. Lately we have been teaching Noah about the life of Jesus; we have this great book full of pictures of stories from the Bible and Book of Mormon to help teach Noah these things. Last night we showed him a picture of Jesus washing the feet of His disciples. I told Noah that Jesus was giving their feet a bath, just like mommy gives Noah a bath. Jesus takes care of his people just like Mommy takes care of Noah.
Today while I was taking a shower, Noah was sitting on the toilet wearing nothing but socks. When I got out, Noah asks "can I take a bath with my feet, mommy?"
I look at him very confused and he asks again.
Me: "you want me to take your socks off so you can take a bath??"
Noah: "Can I take a bath with my feet? just like Jesus?"
I am constantly amazed at the things Noah remembers and picks up on at his age. what an amazing privilege it is to be able to help this little guy go through life!
