Our Creations

Here is a chicken and her chicks that I made in my pottery class. I love how her "feathers" turned out. I'm not totally satisfied with her head/neck. I might try to make another in the next session.

Here's a close up of her feathers.

What's cuter than Maren? Maren in a bucket!

Made made pork vindaloo last night. We also made saffron rice and mango lassi. So good. and our house still smells like India.

(Noah rarely wears pants after 12 pm)

these plastic lab glasses are perfect for not crying when chopping onions. Plus, they make me look incredibly attractive. (the scene to the right of me looks a little dangerous!)

(see the size of my stove! someday I'll have a real stove...)

LOVE the picture of Maren in the bucket! She's adorable! Yes, the scene to the right of you, in that one picture, did look dangerous...haha! I love how Mark was on his phone...lol! Aww, your poor tiny stove...and ohh...to our matching TINY kitchens...boo!

Guess what... I made saffron rice the same night. Great minds think alike?

Your feathers are amazing! Way to be.
Your kids are quite adorable. We need to arrange to bump into each other on Skype more often.
Could you pass along your ethnic food recipes (I know you usually do). I am bored (sick and tired, really) of "American" food and would like to sample the rest of the world. I am thinking of writing a book - Around the World in 80 Meals (or something), where each day for 80 days (or 27) is a different ethnicity, introducing the most classic, wonderful recipes from across the globe. I hope someone else writes it so I can buy it.
