Yesterday evening Mark was trying to putting hydrocortisone on Noah (he has ezcema). Noah was very upset about it:
Mark: Why don't you want your owies to go away?
Noah (crying, declarative): Because they are my favoritest owies in the whole world!
Today in church. We always ask Noah what the bread and water represent while we are taking the sacrament. Then Noah decided to question me today:
Noah: What does the water represent?
Me: Jesus' blood
Noah: Where does orange juice come from?
Me: oranges
Noah: where do butterflies come from?
Me: caterpillars
Noah: No! they come from butter.
Noah refers to Maren as his "new favorite friend." He has recently discovered that it's fun to pull her around by her legs. She likes it. I'm a panicky mess. And now for some Maren updates. A few weeks ago my sister posted that her daughter Alayna (3 weeks younger than Maren) is giving high fives. So of course we had to teach Maren. I love this age, you can teach them little things like this so quickly. Here are a few things Maren can do:
Wave "hello"
Give high fives
Give kisses (wet, slimy, open mouth kisses)
She is a pro at pulling herself up on her feet
I can't wait for Maren and Alayna to meet this summer so that they can give each other high fives!
