This is a illustration of why we don't take as many pictures of Noah compared to when he was less mobile:
Noah stops doing the cute thing I was trying to capture when he hears the camera lens open. He spots the one thing he desires most

stands up and walks to camera

First attempt at getting camera

Maybe I can get it this time...

(Also a good shot of the owie on his chin--he fell at the playground)
Sorry Noah, this toy's for mommy

Noah, who dresses you in those ridiculous outfits? oh wait, that's me! :) That coat is just too darn cute (mamie made it for him) though the sleeves are getting a little too short for him...

actually holly, its not really a simpsons reference; they were referencing The Shining.
Mark
yes I know, but the version I'm referencing is from the Simpsons
That's funny that you think of the no X and no Y make Z go something something as being from the Simpsons. I think of it as coming from The Shining (kinda like Mr. Mark). As it turns out, it is a little bit (~3000 years) older than that. :)

Sure sure, but in the simpsons Homer says "No beer and no Tv make homer go something something" and marge says "go crazy?" homer "don't mind if i do" In The Shining or whatever 3000-year-ago-reference your making, I highly doubt they say "something something." Homer's voice goes thru my head when I think of this quote...
Alright Broadbents! enough with the discussion on the origins of silly quotes. (Besides, I'm right.) What about that cute kid I'm blogging about!?!
Kit's the same way with cameras, but she does more of the "why are you playing wiht that and not paying attention to me" sort of attitude. So one time I showed her the play back of the video I just took, and she loved it! :) So she tolerates the camera/video (for me they come off the same device) as long as I let her look at them when I'm done. But she still walks up to me so I can't get a good picture anymore. She can also tell when I think about the camera because she stops what she's doing and looks at me.
By the way your kid's too cute!
And,I always think of the Simpsons when I think of that quote too. So I agree` with Holly. "Don't mind if I do!!" b
Yea, Mark and Chris are wrong because "something something" makes it a Simpson quote and not the Shining anymore, although of course you still think of the Shining, but Simpsons first.
You will have a lot of back shots of Noah for the next while. Or blank stares. The one of him crying is so cute!
