Sunday was a sad day for our car! The one tree on our street happened to drop a large branch on it during a crazy wind storm compliments of Hurricane Ike. And we thought we were safe up here! The branch also happened to take out a power line on it's way down. We watched, somewhat in shock, as the powerline went down. I was frightened to say the least. Fortunately, no one got hurt.

During the storm, another branch flew across the street into this window almost spearing my neighbor and his son (who is Noah's age)
We were without power from Sunday evening until Tuesday afternoon. We feel extremely blessed that that was the extent of it for us.

Wow that's crazy! We had quite a bit of wind down here too but us personally didn't have too much. Some trees fell but nothing too big and we only lost power for a few hours (but there are plenty of people in the area that are still w/o power from Sunday)
Wow! I am so glad no one got hurt but I feel bad for your car. :(
That's crazy! I saw the picture and I was thinking, I hope nothing happened to their car!
