Our new home (Part 1: Living Room)

So this is our living room, so far. It looks clean. VERY clean. I just moved the piles of junk around the room so that you can't see it in the picture. If I clean the house right after Noah goes to bed around 8 or 9 (ie: hand mop the kitchen floor and vacuum the LR, pick up Noah's toys) then it stays pretty clean for the next 12 hours. I do this cleaning no more than once every 2 weeks...

This is the cover I made for this very weird piece of furniture we have that we use for storing random things. I can't explain it but if you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. I'm very pleased with how it turned out and now Noah has absolutely no interest in trying to scale it.

Oops, one of the piles of junk is showing in this picture...

Mark came home about 10 seconds before I took this picture. Perfect timing eh? hahah, I love it!

That empty frame is something I found next to my neighbor's garbage cans a couple weeks ago. Eventually I'd like to stretch some canvas over it and paint something on it. I've never done that before. I'm not really sure what to paint. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Or if you have any cool pictures that you think would go with this room, send em my way!

I love photo tours of people's homes!
Have you ever seen Designmom.com ? Its a great site with cute ideas. They've recently had postings about printers and painters but, I'm sure you could do something just as good.
