GC Day 29

Oh I am feeling much better today.  We just took it easy today with no rushing around.  So grateful to feel happier.

Also, I'm pretty sure I am a total GENIUS.  I am trying to think of things to put in Noah's sack lunches when he starts school next week.  I hate making lunches and especially packing lunches.  Lunch is, at best, an inconvenience.  It totally messes up my day.  So today we went to Costco and bought a bunch of things to go in Noah's lunch to make my life easier.
So why am I a genius? I want Noah to be able to eat veggies at lunch but the only way he will do that is if he has ranch.  But there is no way I'm sending tupperware with him.  I thought about ordering little individual ranch packets/cups to send with him.  But they are pretty expensive.  Then I remembered about portion cups.  And GFS (gordon food service).  So I bought a bunch of 3.25 oz portion cups and lids for super cheap.  Now I can send any kind of dip I want to send with Noah and hopefully he will enjoy his lunches a little more than I did as a kid.  Here are a few things I could put in the cups: peanut butter (for apples), ranch, cheese dip (for crackers/pretzels).  What other kinds of dips could I use?  Anyway, for a mere 6 cents/cup, I get more versatility and ease. (2oz of prepackaged ranch dip is about 45 cents)  Grateful for GFS!  This is somewhat of a risk of course--so I'll let you know how it goes next week--whether or not I am in fact a genius or just a hopeful.

I'm thankful that it's not even dinnertime and the laundry is pretty much done (just have to switch the wash into the dryer.)

I'm thankful for time this morning to read my scriptures.  Noah and Maren were in the shower and I was nursing Ellie.

I'm so grateful that Maren and Noah played nicely this morning while I worked out and got ready.  So refreshing!

That is a good idea. We should swap lunch ideas.
