Memphis Kiddie Park

Yesterday I took Noah to a kiddie theme park. There are a bunch of rides there for kids under 50 inches tall--although I think the rides are probably the funnest for 2- and 3-year-olds. A group of us went so we got a really great deal. Noah and his friend Austin rode most of the rides together which I think helped to keep the kids brave and excited about going on the rides alone (there are only a couple rides that parents can go on too). I thought it was going to be a big fight to get this kid to leave when we had to go home but because we came as a party, they gave the kids humongous balloons, a box of popcorn, and a cup of red juice. it was perfect and Noah was happy and actually napped on the way home! He woke up just in time for us to go to our friends' house for a BBQ.

The one roller coaster in the park--Noah was screaming bloody murder by the end. I'm so glad I convinced Ryan (Austin's dad) to go on it with him since I'm not allowed on roller coasters. I think Noah would have tried to get out during the ride if Ryan wasn't sitting next to him! Afterward, Noah continued to remind me that he didn't like the Bumpy Train and didn't want to go on it again!

PS You know who said...

Noah, you are a man after my own heart. I am not thrilled with scary rides either.
